Groove & Company delivers professional DJ services near Rockwall, TX, and across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Proudly serving all couples and cultures, we offer engaging entertainment including Karaoke, Music Bingo, and live DJ sets for any occasion. From casual kickbacks and corporate gatherings to elegant weddings, every set is customized to match the tone of your crowd.

As a boutique DJ company, you’ll work directly with the DJ for consultation and timeline coordination, not through a sales team. Backed by over a decade of hospitality experience, every event we take on is handled with care and intention.

Beyond the music, DJ Prima serves as both host and liaison, announcing key moments and keeping the venue, vendors, and guests in sync so you can enjoy the day with confidence.

Behind The Booth

DJ Prima hails from the Bronx, NY, where a rich mix of R&B, hip-hop, dancehall, freestyle, classic house, salsa, reggaeton, and other Caribbean rhythms shaped her sense of community and musical foundation.

Growing up in a vibrant, crowded city taught her how to connect naturally with folks from all walks of life, and watching generations come together at house parties revealed the unifying power of music, sparking her love of DJing.

Building on those roots, she blends the genres she was raised on with rock, pop, and Top 40, crafting dynamic sets with real-time mashups of classic and current hits for a fun, high-energy sound.

You can expect a genuine human touch at every event and someone who celebrates right alongside you!

    Long before the big day, we spend several hours consulting with the couple, building set lists tailored to your theme and culture, planning key moments, and understanding your overall vision.

    On the wedding day, we often manage multiple setups for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. Each space requires its own timing, music, microphones, and coordination.

    We also serve as the central point of communication, working closely with your venue and other vendors to keep the timeline on track and guide guests from one moment to the next.

    Our role goes far beyond supplying sound equipment and playing songs. It is an all-day responsibility, and we help orchestrate the entire experience while providing entertainment for guests of every generation.
